Our Fees

Our Spaces

We’re offer small group sizes and have limited availability.  The centre is open 8:00AM – 4:30PM Monday – Friday, with most of our tamariki attending 3 – 5 days per week between 9:00am – 3:00pm.

20 Hours ECE

What happens when your child turns three?
When your child turns 3 years old they will be eligible for the governments 20 Hours ECE Subsidy. This subsidy is paid by the government to the centre once you have completed and signed the enrolment and attestation forms. There is plenty of information available on the parent’s page of the Ministry of Education website

If you wish to access the 20 Hours ECE Subsidy you must complete a change of hours form that shows the number of days and hours you want to enrol for.

At our centre we have a minimum enrolment requirement of two days a week and 6 hours per day. You must also allocate the 20 hours to only those days your child is enrolled for at our centre up to a maximum of six hours a day and a maximum of 20 hours a week. It is also important you declare whether you are using this subsidy at any other service. We will discuss the enrolment and attestation forms with you prior to your child turning three.

What about the Fees?

We offer 20 hours ECE to all children over 3 years old, aside from this, all our fees are charged at $6.50 per hour regardless of your child’s age.  We often have promotions that may benefit your family so please reach out to enquire about any existing promotions.
We offer a flexible programme with fun, engaging activities happening at all times of the day.
This enables you to enrol your child for as many hours and days that suits your family so long as:

The hours are between 8:00AM and 4.30PM
For a minimum of 6 hours per day (or 12 hours across 3 days)
A minimum of two days per week

Optional Fees

Our centre has an optional charge of $1 per hour for 20 Hours ECE, however, as this charge is completely optional each family can decide if this is affordable for their circumstances.

WINZ subsidies

We encourage all our parents to check their eligibility for a WINZ childcare subsidy.  You may be eligible for some or all of your fees to be paid by Work & Income if you:

The WINZ subsidy often contributes to covering a portion of your fees, and parents are responsible for covering the remaining balance. Subsidy forms are available at the centre or from your nearest WINZ office. The centre needs to sign and complete a section of your WINZ form before you return it directly to WINZ.
Please note, full fees will be charged and are to be paid in full up until the time we receive the WINZ subsidy.

Family Boost

What is FamilyBoost?

FamilyBoost is a childcare payment paid direct to you from Inland Revenue.  It will partially reimburse eligible households for early childhood education (ECE) costs.

To be eligible for FamilyBoost, parents or caregivers will need to:

• have household income of less than $180,000 a year.
• have children aged 5 and under in their care.
• have costs from a licenced ECE provider.
• be a New Zealand tax resident.

Note:  Parents or caregivers who are separated will each be able to claim FamilyBoost if they each have costs for ECE.

How much is FamilyBoost?

FamilyBoost will cover 25% of a household’s childcare costs, up to a maximum of $975 every three months. This is after other government subsidies have been considered, such as ’20 Hours ECE Subsidy’ and Work and Income’s ‘Childcare Subsidy’. The amount that can be claimed slowly reduces for household incomes over $140,000.

For more information, please visit the Ministry of Education website below

Parents or caregivers will need to register for and claim FamilyBoost in myIR – Inland Revenue’s online portal. If they don’t have a myIR account, they will need to register for one. They will also need to ensure they have an IRD number for the child/children they will be claiming for. Quarterly FamilyBoost statements will be sent to you to upload to claim or alternatively, you can save your invoices to upload.

How often you can claim

FamilyBoost can be claimed for the following quarters:

July to September
October to December
January to March
April to June.

You can choose to make your claim at any time after the quarter has ended, however, each quarter will need to be claimed separately. You will have up to 4 years to submit your claims.

How long is your Waitlist?

Available spaces change rapidly due to children going to school, increase or decrease of hours or events that impact our families. We strongly advise reaching out to us at least 2 – 3 months prior to your anticipated enrolment to check on availability – this will also allow you to arrange short visits that support your childs’ transition into the centre before they enrol for the hours you need.
